Of Course, when you go to Rome, you will be going to this restaurant(third image to the right) it is famous for serving fettuccine with just cheese, the food the taste the ambience is extraordinary. Specifically the ambience, you feel like you are in one of the black and white movies of the italian master filmmakers. Your increase your sense of positive alienation when you learn that the architecture of the building is the style of 1930s fascist era. It is minimalist but warmth beautiful geometrical detail without being too severe. We all know that Fascism could not last, the relentless forward toward some kind of democratic regimes were the dynamic of Europe with or without the second world war. Italy ironically was lucky, its experiment with Fascism came to an end, but the people who were responsible for building an expression of the regime dream has good taste, and the italians are more lucky, when the alliance forgot to bomb these buildings. Life is full of irony . I pray to everybody god(s), we shall be blessed with such IRONY..
