Of course, Koch Industries has nothing to do with the Keystone XL - TopicsExpress

Of course, Koch Industries has nothing to do with the Keystone XL pipeline. Absolutely nothing. O.K. So maybe they do own most of what will eventually be transported through the Keystone XL pipeline. Pure coincidence. But don’t take my word for it. TransCanada has issued an official statement–published on Koch Industries‘ own corporate website–explaining precisely how this is all just some kind of silly misunderstanding. This sort of thing makes me nostalgic for the days when the American Petroleum Institute spent God-only-knows-how-many millions of dollars running a television ad explaining that “The more you know about our advanced sub-sea technologies…” And then the Deepwater Horizon blew a gasket and those ads mysteriously vanished from the TV airwaves, and CNN, the major benefactor of those advertising dollars, had a philosophical crisis and decided to blame President Obama for his careless oil spill.
