Of course it would be silly to simply say they are sending troops. The word troops implies combat forces. They are sending specialized military personnel. The US Military has fully trained specialized divisions including medical divisions (doctors, nurses, laboratory technicians, specialists, and para medics) as well as engineers and construction battalions for the building of hospitals and care facilities. These specialized divisions are on par with their civilian counterparts. It is my understanding that this division main focus is to build 17 hospitals of 100 beds each. My understanding is also that they are actually more concerned dealing with Malaria there than Ebola. Just another typical hate Obama meme.
