The vilifying of African Americans makes for good business. If a group of African Americans are doing something that positive the news media may or may attend if they do its very little coverage. Now if that reversed it will be a major story warranting coverage. Look at your local news coverage of stories. Then if that’s not convincing enough visit your local courts. Since the “get tough on crime” speech in the eighties, the new money maker in America is “Privatize Prisons.” We incarcerate 719 individuals per 100,000 people which in more than any industrialized nation in the world. African Americans make up 40.1% of the 2.1 million of male inmates. The incarceration rate for American-Americans is so high that young black men without a high school diploma are more likely to go to jail than to find a job, thereby causing the breakup of families and instilling further poverty upon them continuing that vicious circle. Here is how the money train works: Court System, Lawyers, Cities Counties, State, Parking, Bail Bonds and Prisons are all making money of this case until it’s rectified.
