Of course this book is controversial to the tin-eared NY Times. Of course there may be prescriptions for a cure, but the actual medicine is missing. If we all turned off our TVs and stopped the propaganda machine and were on the streets in our neighborhoods talking to each other, we could start to change things. Yanked the kids out of Common Core classes which eat up time, lives, passion, we could make a difference. If we planted gardens, not lawns, with non-GMO seeds we could feed ourselves and clean the air and save the bees. If we shared our resources and stopped the mad rush for money, we could feel each others common humanity and develop an empathic world willing to take back our planet and care for all that lives on and in it. Then wed see how living with and loving each other is all that we have. But the corporate strategy is to muddle our minds, fill our lives with meaningless activities, rob us of all any of us have--time. Dont let them do that to you.
