Of course you want to keep your new baby clean with healthy, soft skin ,but do you worry about the chemicals that are added into baby shampoos, liquid washes, and lotions? In fact do you find yourself questioning the need for any of them? Could any of the additives and preservatives -- like parabens and phthalates (and you will find many in fragrances) -- be harmful to your baby? Perhaps each product only contains minute proportions of these types of ingredients, but add them all together....... If youre concerned about exposure to chemicals then a good quality soap made with natural ingredients and water is probably all you require for the job. If you look for simpler products, you will reduce your childs overall exposure. No fragrances, no antibacterial action- just natural ingredients. Simple, gentle and mild and effective.
