Of the 10,080 minutes in the week week to this coming Monday, I approximate that J&I will have spent circa 35 minutes (.36%) speaking on the phone, and circa 25% in the same vicinity/under the same roof (awake for 80% of that), but only an estimated 5% where J will be available to talk to/spend time with his wife and family (during which he is likely to receive s call, need to answer an email, proof something). His constituent surgery alone tomorrow morning will account for 3%, weekend public events another 4.2%, and 2% at local constituency party event. Does anyone want to tell me to my face (or my FB) how lazy and money-grubbing MPs are?!?!? I know many others also have long periods away from family but the cost / benefit ratio in its widest sense for MPs is really starting to come into question. Please be aware British public - you are soon going to get what you asked for and you really will have something to complain about if you keep putting all MPs down to the lowest and collectively labelling them to the lowest exceptions in all respects. Ok . . . Immediate rant over but I have a feeling I will continue in the near future.
