Of the quadriceps muscle the muscle that causes the hips to - TopicsExpress

Of the quadriceps muscle the muscle that causes the hips to tighten up is the RECTUS FEMORIS. Tightening of this muscle puts the hip in constant flexion which not only causes pain but will also affect compound exercise like squats and lunges. There are 3 stretches that can be done to stretch this muscle out. Two of them require a qualified person like myself and the other can be done with proper instruction. Will post short videos this week on all three options. #IRON Fields knowledge.
