Off on a 3 day trip today...after a Kansas City out and back from Minneapolis this afternoon, I end up this evening in Duluth. Its not too far from home (2.5hrs) so Angela will drive up to join me for my 35 hour layover there tonight thru Wednesday AM:-) With any luck and should the weather cooperate (storms forecast for tonight and tomorrow AM), I will attempt to run 13.75 miles from the top of Spirit Mountain into Duluth. 1,250 worth of ascents (an Empire State Buildings worth) will be a definite challenge for a wobbly old man, but the scenery and single path trail overlooking Lake Superior and the like should make it worth it:-) Cheers!
