Off soon to another funeral. My Aunt Bon will be honored today. I remember her wonderful cookies, the Easter egg hunts at her home, the cool windmill on their farm, and that I learned to knit from her family. My dad thought I was Aunt Bon after he had brain surgery and I will never forget the words he shared with me that day. Remember...life is short, but love endures forever. The finish line on this side of life transports you to the starting point of the afterlife. I pray that as my family experiences losses of ones they love, they will find the One who makes all the struggles and celebrations on earth all worth while.
