Off this afternoon to a Career Fair at Enterprise Square, organized by students from the University of Alberta. I never quite know what to tell bright young things about my career. I love what I do. I think journalism is more important than ever to our democracy. But can I in good conscience, tell students they ought to become journalists? Sometimes, I feel like a cult recruiter whos lost faith in the mission.
