Offering a room to live!!! We keep getting people offering a room or two for homeless veterans while this is a very kind offer and we do respect the offer of kindness shown, we strongly advise against taking anyone off the street into your home and would never send a homeless veteran to any member of the public’s home to live. Nearly all of our homeless clients are suffering with mental health and/or addiction problems that we refer to the appropriate organisations with the expertise to help them. Once again thank you for the offers of accommodation but we cannot accept them due to the possible risk issues involved. Bill Murray Chairman Soldiers off the Street.
