Officer Wyatt not only displayed much aggression and illegal behavior, he also committed another act that some may not notice. The Burlington Police Department issued body cameras to their officers. The purpose is to document any contact with a civilian during and after the encounter. When the camera midsection is pushed down, the camera automatically starts recording video and audio. When its pushed back up, the camera automatically stops recording and turns off. Officer Wyatt, photographed, shows the body camera turned off. The other image is an image of one of the Burlington Police officers showing how the device works. Officer Wyatt, perhaps even other officers involved at the scene, had their body cameras turned off. This screams a coverup in events that the officers involved didnt want to be caught with their pants down.
