Official Free Agency, Off Season Moves and Signings (July 10): * Chris Paul became the first official signing of the Free Agency period, inking a 5 year, $107 million contract with the LA Clippers * Pablo Prigioni has been re-signed by the Knicks. The 36 year old Prigioni averaged 3.5 points, 3 assists and 1.8 rebounds over 16.2 minutes per game in 78 games for the Knicks last season. The deal is believed to be for another season. * Paul Millsap has been officially signed by the Atlanta Hawks. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Millsap, who started his career with the Jazz and played for 7 seasons with them, will occupy the Power Forward position vacated by the now Piston Josh Smith * The Trail Blazers have signed Dorell Wright from the 76ers, first round draft pick Allen Crabbe and completed a trade for former King and Rocket, second year forward Thomas Robinson * The Knicks trade for Andrea Bargnani has been made official. The Knicks receive Bargnani and in exchange have sent Marcus Camby, Steve Novak, Quentin Richardson and three draft picks to the Toronto Raptors * Josh Smith has signed a 4 year, $54 million contract with the Detroit Pistons. Smith joins the Pistons after 9 years with the team that drafted him, the Atlanta Hawks. Smith brings in career averages of 15.3 points and 8 rebounds per game. * The Washington Wizards have added Eric Maynor to their roster as well as resigning defensive stopper Garrett Temple * Al Jefferson has officially signed with the Charlotte Bobcats. The deal is reportedly for 3 years and worth $40.5 million. Charlotte obtained further cap relief by indicating that they are going to use their amnesty clause on underachieving Power Forward Tyrus Thomas. This move will save the Bobcats around $18.5 million over the next 2 years. The Bobcats have also signed first round draft pick Cody Zeller to a rookie contract. * David West is staying with the Indiana Pacers. He signed a deal for 3 years and $36.6 million. The Pacers have also announced the signing of former Bull and Net, CJ Watson. * The Clippers have announced their new signings at a press conference in LA yesterday. The newly re-signed Chris Paul, Matt Barnes and Ryan Hollins were joined by new recruits Jared Dudley and JJ Redick, whom they received in a three way trade that sent Eric Bledsoe and Caron Butler to Phoenix, Darren Collinson and new head coach Doc Rivers.
