Officially now I have to tick the 60 and over box on various forms that pop up in my life. Am I ready for this part of my life? Not really. It has come too quickly. But then I think back over my life up to this point and I have to be happy Im here. There were plenty of times when I should have joined the ranks of Darwin Award winners or at least runner up and I am thankful that I missed the nominations. I thank my parents, siblings, wife, children, new grand daughter, extended family, friends both old and new, enemies and anybody I have ever interacted with. I have an unwavering belief that every interaction I have, no matter how small, has changed me and them in some way and led me to this point. I hope that I continue to grow,change and also influence others in their life path. I hope that when my heart is weighed it comes down on the good side rather than the bad side. So thanks to all for the birthday wishes, thanks for letting me wander in and out of your lives. I will go to bed now and in the morning start my journey into this stage of my life. I resolve to reduce the times my foot lands in my mouth and my foot ends up stuck in a bucket. If these do occur I will without hesitation use age as an excuse and present my seniors card as proof. I hope that everybody holds on tightly to this spinning rock we live on and remembers that there is a new day, there is always hope and if you let go of this rock you cant get back. Live Life, Love Life its that simple. Goodnight all.
