Please join us in welcoming our newest four-legged friends to Mercys Pet Patrol Program! - MOWGLIE - is a three year old Labradoodle (Labrador/Poodle) who lives in Massillon with handler, Jeff Lyons. - SCARLETT - lives in Massillon with handler, Lona Mays, and is a two year old long-hair Chihuahua. - WINSTON - lives with handler Sylvia Dillenback in North Canton and is a two year old Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie). - PAPI - is a one and a half year old Fox Terrier/Chihuahua mix who lives with handler Laura Stewart-Johnson in Canton. With approximately 20 specially trained teams, Pet Patrols main goal is to help people heal through the comfort and motivation of these loving animals. All the handlers are volunteers and the animals are their own loving pets. Pet Patrol teams are registered with Pet Partners (formerly the Delta Society) and are strictly behaviorally and medically tested by their evaluators.
