Often I think of my parents and miss sharing my kids with them. I am so thankful for my extended family who sometimes will in for my folks. Thank you to all of you who bake a special cake for us that my mom may have made for you at one time. Thank you for those who show up to birthday parties and let my kids call you grandma and grandpa. Thank you to those who teach my boys and me gun safety and take my family out for target practice. Thanks to those who open there hearts and homes to us when needed. Thanks to those who share stories of my parents to my kids. Thank you all for listening, caring, giving of your time and loving my family. I know my parents and father in-law are with us everyday and are smiling down on all of you who help fill their absents.
