(Often being asked for my compassion and action on human issues about violence, oppression, exploitation, while showing no mercy for those I speak for, those who have tails, feathers, fins. I struggle to take seriously one-sided exchange of awareness and information or claims like human issues have the priority, as if to stop using animal products would imply less action on and awareness of human issues...) Diversity has been the humans excuse to kill or exploit others: a different skin, a different language, a different gender, a different species, a different something... When I hear the motivation of the personal choice to justify the enslavement of animals, I find it bizarre. We could say that its Monsantos personal choice to poison the planet, its some presidents personal choice to wage wars for profit, its some religious leaders personal choice to inflict harm to women because they dont dress according to their law. The personal choice ends when the violence begins. And compassion cant be selective.
