Often times, we have ambitions. We pursue these ambitions with vigour, power and determination. But have we noticed that the feeling of triumph and elation upon achieving these ambitions is always TEMPORARY? It always is. Reason? Because in life, there is no ultimate contrary to what we make ourselves to believe. For every achievement, there is always something higher. You look for job for so long and you get one. You are so, so happy. But upon resumption, you discover that you should have gotten a higher designation. Another battle for promotion begins. You get promoted and you start looking for yet another promotion. This continues until you become the chief executive of the company after 25 years but suddenly you discover that the ultimate control rests with the board. Then another battle called boardroom politics begins. And in the process of fighting this battle, DEATH, via stroke, accident, sickness, attack, assassination or even natural causes comes. We should ask ourselves: what exactly is the worth of our ambitions in life? Nothing. Nothing...and the third worth still, nothing! I respect Thee omnipresent Jehovah...
