Ogor Pay homage to Obukeni on his 40th Coronation Anniversary THE Deputy House Leader of the House of Representatives and member representing Isoko Federal Constituency Rt. Hon. Leo Okuweh Ogor has paid homage to HRM Edward Obukeni 1, the Ovie of Igbide on the occasion of his 40th Coronation Anniversary. In his speech, Hon Leo Ogor who was represented by Com. Nelson Egware said he rejoiced with the Ovie, the Council of Chiefs, and the good people of Igbide Kingdom on the 40th coronation anniversary of His Majesty. Leo Okuweh Ogor, congratulates His Royal Majesty Edward Obukeni 1 the Ovie of Igbide as he celebrates his 40th anniversary on the throne As you celebrate the 40th anniversary of your coronation, I congratulate Your Majesty and the good people of Igbide Kingdom on this great feat. “It is my prayer that the legacy of peace, harmony, prosperity, and steadfastness progress which the Igbide Kingdom has witnessed during your reign will endure perpetually even as Almighty God blesses you with robust health and many more years of fulfillment The ideals of uncommon patriotism, unassailable piety, sterling leadership qualities which you epitomise, are worthy traits which will continue to inspire us in our quest to provide quality representation for our people. May God continue to protect Your Majesty and bless the people of Igbide Kingdom and the good people of Isoko Nation In his speech, the Ovie thanked Hon. Leo Ogor for felicitating with him and said he is always proud of him as a worthy and illustrious son of Isoko Nation. He also prayed that Hon Leo Ogor will have an easy return to the House of Representatives to continue doing his good works. President-General of Igbide Kingdom, Dr.(Chief) D.S. Edegware commended Hon Leo Ogor for his intervention in the renovation of dilapidated 8 classroom block at Eru Primary School, Igbide. He also promised that a delegation of Igbide kingdom will come and visit him to show their appreciation to him. Chief Mike Usige, an illustrious son of Igbide and former Vice-President of IDU commended Hon. Leo Ogor for identifying with the good people of Igbide on the occasion of the 40th Coronation Anniversary of HRM Edward Obukeni 1. He also commended Hon Ogor for single handedly undergoing renovation of Eru Primary School, Igbide. He assured the Honorable of the support of Igbide Kingdom for his reelection. Chief Usige also drew the attention of the Honorable to the Akugha Road which is of great importance to the good people of Igbide Kingdom. Hon. Chief Emamusi Obiodeh thanked Hon. Leo Ogor for honoring the King and said that he was among those that contributed to the failure of Hon. Leo Ogor in Igbide during the last election due to some grievances they had against the Honorable in the past. He appreciated the good things that Hon. Ogor is doing and said he is always proud of Hon. Leo Ogor each time he is contributing to debates on the floor of the house. He promised to mobilize all his followers and political associates to deliver enmasse for Hon. Leo Ogor in the next general elections.
