Oh. Em. GEE!!! I am SOOOOO grateful tonight that I can hardly stand myself! 1. First and most importantly, I am SUPREMELY grateful that Mark Walker DECISIVELY won this election tonight, with 60% of the vote, proving that We the People are not impressed with politics as usual and the buying of elections. Tonight proved that the little people, NOT THE PARTY, can still choose their own candidate occasionally. 2. Im grateful for the huge amount of rain we got at the same time we were celebrating Marks victory. At least someone TOLD me it was rain....... I think it was Marks opponent crying, because he KNOWS that if he hadnt run such a nasty and negative campaign, the race would have been more evenly split. 3. Im grateful that, at least for a LITTLE while, until we gear up for November, life can get back to normal for just a little while. Yeah, I want a couple extra gratitudes for today. 4. Im grateful that we had such a fine and honorable candidate to promote, and that Mark is so squeaky clean that they had to make up stuff, in order to say anything negative about him. 5. Im grateful that Mark and Kelly and their sweet kids, will get some time off to enjoy each other and catch up. This has to have been incredibly hard on all of them, and they have to be exhausted.
