Oh My Goodness! Where do I even begin to share this incredible weekend?! First of all, let me say, when like minds come together, there is a connection that has already been established. With that said, the level of professionals and their commitment to the services they provide was astounding! The common thread for each and everyone of us, was the importance of the philosophy of Natural Horsemanship and what that provides for the therapeutic work we do and the overall environment. Did not matter if it is hippotherapy, therapeutic riding, equine facilitated psychotherapy and learning. This includes mental health professionals as well, of which there was very accomplished individuals. This weekend brought together Parelli professionals, coming as far as Australia and Hawaii, with therapeutic professionals, so that they could see, experience and feel the therapeutic world. Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! Parelli Education Institute in harmony with InStride Therapy Center made this all happen! I personally wish to acknowledge Donna Blem, Executive Director of InStride , Shannon Knapp of Horse Sense of the Carolinas and author of More than a Mirror, Dawn Roth, Parelli Education Institute and Kris Batchelor of Triple Play Farm, for this opportunity and experience! Thank you to the Parelli Professionals and their commitment to our world!! Now I have to download and process. Wow!
