Oh, WHAT A TANGLE WEB WE WEAVE WHEN WE ATTEMPT TO DECEIVE The deceitful document (on the right) attached is the official flyer printed for distribution by the UWP. This brochure will be used to get you, not me to march. I have taken the liberty to label the items in the format of 1 through to 8 and the graph as item A for ease of reference. Item A is used to show you the price of oil on the world market from October to January 15, 2015. Dear reader I ask you to ignore the January 2015 price and focus on the price for October, November and December 2014. Why? They are the world prices used by the Ministry of Finance in their calculations. These prices are listed on the UWP flyer as follows $85.06+$75.57+$59.46 =$220.09/3 (3month average) =$73.36. The monthly average price of oil on the world market for the period October to December 2014, as printed on the UWP flyer, was $73.36. I invite you to view the items referenced below: Item 1. – UWP has the Cost of Fuel Per gallon as US$2.50 or EC$6.79 (PLEASE NOTE NO CIF included in the PRICE) error by UWP Item 2. - UWP quotes the Excise tax as EC$2.48 all calculations by the government list the Excise tax as $2.50. UWP in the habit of taking takes $0.02 cents Error by UWP Item 3. - UWP quotes the distributor’s margin as $1.10 all calculations by the government list the Distributors profit as $1.01 Error by UWP Item 4.- UWP quotes the retailers profit as $1.05 Hooray they got this one correct. Item 5 – UWP states that based on their calculations, errors included, they arrived a price $11.42. In essence, the UWP is stating that the price should have been $11.42 and not $13.65 Using my calculator when I subtracted the UWPs price $11.42 from the and GOSL price (13.65-11.42)=$2.23 PLEASE NOTE THAT THE UWP DOES NOT INCLUDE THE SERVICE CHARGE INTO THEIR CALCULATIONS- DECEITFUL UWP As per item 1 they list the US price per gallon (US$2.50 or EC$6.79) Are we not supposed to add INSURANCE and FREIGHT to the price per gallon to get the total CIF cost per gallon? As per their calculations where is the Excise Tax, the Insurance and the Freight. The price at the pump on January 15, 2015 ($15.85) is subtracted from their erroneously calculated price. The difference is supposed to be $4.43, hey but they take something again they put $4.42 add it to the excise tax leave out the service charge and get a surplus of $6.90 At the top of the flyer, they wrote “Someone has made over $11 million monthly. Where all the money gone” if you are going to use the old price as of the 13 of January to date the price change has only been in effect for a little over a week. Months? If they cannot manage the publication of a flyer. If they choose to leave out information that is already in the public domain. If they cannot get their figures correct. will they be able to add up the national budget? will they ever be able to balance our books? Why do you continue with the lies, the lies the lies.
