Oh beautiful Glen Workshop community and glorious Seattle Pacific MFA students: You are invited to the 10th Annual, Off-the-Record Read-Aloud Party known as The Thomas Parker Society. It will take place on THURSDAY NIGHT, in Apartment 6 (the temporary home of the generous Deb Bloom and the gracious Thomas Bona). Come by any time after 7:30. The readings will begin closer to 8. Those who attend the Donor Dinner are welcome to join us after the dinner, even if that makes you late. What happens at this party? People can sign up at the party to read, sing, or otherwise perform 5-10 minutes of anything you like — your own work, or someone elses, good or bad, solemn or funny. As per usual, Ill be your emcee and timekeeper. Youre encouraged (but not required) to bring a snack or a beverage. Youre also encouraged to bring a friend. Itll be crowded.
