Oh how I need your advice. Every Saturday at the farm at 10 AM we have a free half hour seminar for our guests with a different topic each week. This week? It is all about raising your own berries and we will be talking about raspberries, strawberries, currants, blueberries, and apple trees and more. I will do just fine on the basics of varieties that are winter hardy in northern Minnesota and the type of care they like to maximize production, but here is where I need your help. Help me with your favorite ways to serve fresh berries? Either cooked or uncooked. Growing a plant is one thing, but the ability to put the fruit to its most delicious use? Quite another. Your thoughts would be very much appreciated.
