Oh how Ive changed (thank goodness!!!). A minor issue caused me to have to pick up my youngest son from school today (and miss out on the relaxation part of my Body Balance class!!!) and although I had my whole day planned out, heaps of work to do and lunch with my mentor when I realised my boy was upset it all washed away. We forgot his schoolbag so I had to call the school to give it to my older son and he says to me from the back of the car Im sorry Ive caused you so much trouble mum :( Oh my Lord, talk about tugging the heart strings! Anyway, went to the shops, had a bite to eat, taught him to use chopsticks and at the end of lunch he says I LOVE doing this with you mum, we used to do it all the time when Ryan was at school didnt we? Those were the good ol days! (hes seven!). So now, instead of doing the washing, paying bills, tidying up my DISASTER zone of a work space, getting the house ready for guests on the weekend and a whole host of other things I had planned Ive decided to sit down and watch a DVD with my baby. Yep, the housework can wait, he cant. They grow up WAY too quickly, never let an opportunity that started out as a negative remain that way. Make the most of every second. Love those kids.
