Oh look, another Caffeine Chronicles.... The Caffeine Chronicles No.914: Sunday mornings slumber is disturbed with the kind of clattering cacophony only an alien invasion of Wellsian proportions could produce. Such an alarm demanded immediate action. I am bounded from the bed and out the door into the hallway ready to face anything swifter than winged Mercury employed as Tony Montanas test pilot. Surprised by the ferocity of events I am driven backwards down the staircase and along the corridor. The whirling apparition resembling a cross between Zorro and a Kenwood chef presses its attack hard driving towards the kitchen wing of Tdkr towers. Cornered in the kitchen at the point of being vanquished sight of the cafetiere at my right hand calms the beast down to a mere boiling fury. The misty halo swirling around its head settles down into shoulder length grey hair as the kettle approaches boiling point. The genetic component in the mornings events are obvious when the aromatic scent of coffee floats on the air. Sipping our coffee sat at the table it appears Mother is still not quite herself until shes had her morning cuppa.
