Oh mannn... as the rain gently patters on my roof this afternoon, I cant help but shiver at the memory of that freak storm and horrific 8m wall of water that swept down from the Toowoomba range and devastated our valley on this day in 2011... so freakishly heavy was the rain at one point that we had three young sheep drown on a safe slope simply from the combination of falling rain, and splashback... people only had *minutes* to get out, not hours or days... many thanks to our army of volunteers, police and armed forces who helped to clean up and walk every inch of every paddock and every creek for our dearly lost family, friends and neighbours from Grantham, Glenore Grove, Laidley and Minden... gone but never forgotten https://youtube/watch?v=rNGOd36qLfU
