Oh, my. Did someone sneak more hours in the day? Sure feels like it. LOL. Day Two was quieter...much quieter. Only two sales, near the end of the day. Yet, it feels like my energy levels plummeted for one reason or another. Hmmm. But, I did get my first credit card purchase. Most people were paying in cash, with a few checks. I got to use my Square credit card reader :) I was afraid I might have issues with it. No problem...went like a breeze! I was all grins! The whole weekend was a very nice experience--working with one seasoned author, one relatively new and a very young new author (like me--well, at least new...young--not so much). So, from the weekend, I gained copious experience, sold eight advance copies (all paperback), and talked to quite a few people. Ill have a nice chunk to deposit into the bank tomorrow. Then I came home to find (when I looked online) a mysterious $7.09 in my business checking account. I do believe that it is my very first royalty payment for my first quarter of sales (all two days). Content Distribupayables (from 15 Nov) doesnt tell me much. Ill have to call my publisher tomorrow to see if I can find out if its from them. If so--sweet! I wonder what it represents in number of sales...since I have eBooks, paperbacks and hardbound, its difficult to say and I wont get a statement till the end of November...but I want to know NOW. LOL.
