Oh my gosh - really? Music Hall is sitting in the epicenter of economic, artistic and community development. Do we really think Washington Park could be the amazing community resource for families and people from our neighborhood of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati and throughout the city without Music Hall as its anchor? Do you think small arts organizations like ours ( Cincinnati Boychoir )could reach boys from all over the city from a variety of backgrounds without the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Pops, Cincinnati Opera, The May Festival and other large organizations making music so prominent in our community? LumenoCity? Classical Roots & CSO Spectrum programs focusing on diversity? Garrison Keilor filling the hall when he comes to town? Every major company or large event taking place in the Music Hall Ballroom? Are you kidding? The CSO is one of the most innovative, outward reaching arts organizations in the country - how can we NOT include this facility (which has been so poorly maintained by its city stewards) in this funding plan? Come on Cincinnati - #saveouricons
