Pidato yg baik itu, jika diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa asing pun tetap elegan dan penuh makna, krn datangnya dr hati :) Sumber: Jakarta Globe Jakarta. President-Elect Joko Widodo and Vice President-Elect Jusuf Kalla delivered a victory speech on a phinisi, a traditional Indonesian wooden boat, called Hati Buana Setia, or World Faithful Heart, on Tuesday evening. The boat is anchored at the Sunda Kelapa port in North Jakarta. The following is the transcript of the speech: Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh May peace be upon all of us Om Swastiastu Namo Buddhaya My brothers and sisters, The Indonesian General Elections Committee has named both of us, Joko Widodo and Jusuf Kalla, as president and vice president-elect of the Republic of Indonesia for 2014-2019. First of all, my gratitude and highest appreciation go to Mr. Prabowo Subianto and Mr. Hatta Rajasa who have been our friends in this political competition in getting the people’s mandate to lead this country for the next five years. My brothers and sisters, This victory is a victory of all Indonesian people. I hope that this victory will open our ways to reach and achieve a politically sovereign, economically independent, and culturally characterized Indonesia. However, in the past few months, the differences in our political choice seemed to be a reason that set us apart, even though we do know that diversity and differences are not the only certain things in democracy, as there is also the relationship between the people that is the main foundation of a united Indonesia. We, Joko Widodo and Jusuf Kalla, humbly ask you, brothers and sisters, to go back to our historical destiny as a united nation, one nation, Indonesia. Mend the once-distant relationships among families, neighbors and friends. Together we have the responsibility to prove ourselves, other nations, and especially our children and grandchildren, that politics is full of fun, that there is happiness in politics, that there is goodness in politics, and that politics is a liberation. My brothers and sisters, This presidential election has sparked new optimism for us, for this nation. Free souls and political responsibilities blossom within the souls of the new generation. The long-lost voluntarism is now back with a new spirit. The presidential election has brought politics to a new phase — it wasn’t only a political event, but also a cultural event. What the volunteers have shown, from cultural workers to artists, to trishaw drivers, has given us hope that the spirit of mutual cooperation has never died. That spirit will not only make Indonesia survive its problems, but also will develop Indonesia to be the world’s maritime axis, the locus of the future massive political civilization. I strongly believe that the struggle to achieve a sovereign, independent, and characterized Indonesia can only be realized if we work together hand in hand. This is the time to work together. Starting from now, farmers, go back to the fields; fishermen, go back to the sea; children, go back to schools; workers, go back to the factories; employees, go back to work in the offices. Let’s forget about number one, let’s forget about number two, let’s go back to Indonesia Raya. We are strong because we are united, we are united because we are strong. Three-finger salute to the unity of Indonesia! Wassalamu’alailum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh Om Shanti Shanti Shanti Om Namo Buddhaya Merdeka! Merdeka! Merdeka! -Jokowi-
