Oh my...what a day we have had in the land. We had Princess Grace of Monaco, Prince Rainier III of Monaco (who refused to stay for a photo-too many important things to handle), Princess Isabella of Spain, Princess Halima, Princess Diana of Wales, Princess Margrethe II of Denmark, Princess Ameera of Saudi Arabia, and then of course, the brave Amelia Earhart and the ever so popular Susan B. Anthony (wires got crossed somewhere, but still wonderful choices and great learning opportunities!)...........I hope I havent forgotten any of our illustrious guests. A Just reminded that I did forget to add Princess Elisabeth who had a terribly busy schedule today, but did come by for lunch. :) And the wonderful thing is, these kids learned that being a princess, does not simply mean putting on a tiara and living, Happily Ever After. They also learned that being privileged means living happily ever after -after we help those in need. The royals they chose, are royals who symbolize that. We also decorated royal crowns and the kids had a choice of which color they would like. So, if your son goes home wearing a pink tiara this afternoon-get over it. Its just a color! :) lol! Anyway, a fun, fun day-and a lot of learning went on (as usual! ) Tomorrow its back to just being ourselves. And that is the best thing to be.
