Oh noooooo, my poor baby.....I know this delights some of you, but I will always be A Kobe Bryant fan, and if you want to take pot shots at him, please refrain from doing so, you talking badly about him, will not erase 17 all star selections, 5 Nba championships with the same team, 2 back to back playoff mvps , 1 regular season mvp, 3rd on the all time scoring list, Olympic medals and several Lakers RECORDS.....People hate what they cant achieve, of course if this makes him miss this season, people that hate him will rejoice, because he never got that 6th ring, Robert Horry had seven rings, doors that make him better than Jordan our Bryant? Of course not!!! People always act like its a bad thing that he patterned his game after Jordan.......like its a bad thing to pattern yourself after such a talented and successful man....Whatever happens, he stayed with one team, he won 5 rings, and if he retired tomorrow, he still would have had one of the most successful careers of all time.....He didnt leave for more money, he didnt retire, go play baseball, come back, and finish his career with different teams than where he had achieved his glory....he stayed, through the good and bad years, and for 19 years has mesmerized us with his talent....he also was known for some pretty negative attributes, selfishness and arrogance among other things, but there are plenty of athletes that have done worse, and still are on their teams, never suffering any punishment....... I am almost in tears as I write this, I cant fathom watching the Lakers without #24....even though we are one of the worst teams in the league right now, Im a Lakers fan, just like Im a Cowboys fan, and this news, is devastating to me.....#LAKERNATION# #24/8#
