Oh,once again a heart is fallen at my feet, once more a gaze landed in my eyes’ seat! Again in a cold-blooded war, my heart– is the victor, another heart is caught! Once again, from the spring of my lips, a thirsty was watered ending her wild trips. Again in my chest, my bosom’s deeps– a pilgrim is fallen asleep! I look into her eyes with an air to seduce, Yet I know not what it’s all meant to induce. I think I look for a mad lover to tame To gently forget her name ! And she asks from me the wine of my kiss, what shall I tell my heart about this bliss? For my heart is after the eternal joy– but only lust seems to be her ploy! I want from her the purity of love, of love– To give her all I have from beneath and above. And she wants from me a flesh burning in fire– To set ablaze her angst- is her desire. Oh, she calls me “a Warm Bosom– to drive me insane in your kingdom!” And I call her: “Oh Stranger! let me go, this unison is to falter!” Oh, alas my heart, this grail of hope! It is broken and silently rolls down the slope! It became a lyre in the hands of the strangers– for its tunes and airs, it never found fine singers! *smack
