Oh please! Im old enough now and dont need your advice! As we get older we feel we no longer require advice from our parents, and that they should trust us now that we have grown under their care. But the reality is, advice from parents increases in value over time just as gold and silver do! I thought of that this week as I was about to leave my parents home after Eid for Toronto and my father sat me down to give me Naseehah. The older we get, the more precious their advice to us becomes. And once they pass away and leave this world, the value of their advice skyrockets! So treasure every moment and every word, for a day will come where you will wish to seek their advice but it will be too late!
