Oh, screw you Frank! I respect you and your work. You gave us some amazing comics and the holy bible... Dark Knight Returns. And you gave us Year One. Yes, you were a genius at one point, but dude... stop sucking your own c***!! Nolan had his vision for Batman just like you had your own vision. You dont have to insult the films, you should feel flattered The Dark Knight Rises took its inspiration from Dark Knight Returns, the greatest peice of work you have done! You dont own the name The Dark Knight either buddy, just throwing that out there as well, lol... Still, grow up Frank. If you are worried that your name will be forgotten because of the Live-Action Batman films then you clearly did not hear that The Dark Knight Returns sales were up 161% after the Batman vs. Superman 2013 comic con announcement, and that sales will go up even MORE when the movie is released. So, relax. Everybody knows where the film got its inspiration from, YOU. So chill out.
