Oh the joys of eating on the road! Just stopped at Wendys. Mike was outside walking Buddy. The kids were really good going to the bathroom and ordering. Then the mayhem of arguing over who got to squeeze the catsup into the cups ensued. We finally made it back up to the counter, all 3 with a catsup cup in hand, only to find they didnt make our order to go. So while were waiting for them to bag up our food, I have the kids each pick up their kid size frostys that I was nice enough to order :) and Ellie proceeds to drop and splatter her catsup all over Maggies sleeve, the counter wall, and the floor. We get that cleaned up(for the most part) and the older 2 head out to the car. Im left with 3 bags, my drink, and 2 catsup cups, and my purse to hold myself and Maggie only with her tiny frosty. We get just inside the double set of glass doors to leave and I hear Maggie shout, Oh no! I turn to find frosty exploded all over her hands, the floor, and the windows. I yell, YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! INTHE TRASH! (not one of my proudest patenting moments). Shes crying and I set the 3 bags, drink, and 2 catsup cups, plus my purse down on the newspaper stand, take her in, throw the frosty cup and remnants that are left away, grab food etc. and practically run out of there. Im fuming and embarrassed and then Maggie, through her tears says, Cant you just go back in and buy me another one? No Maggie, no I cant! The joys of eating on the road with 3 kids :) Next time Im sticking with Buddy in the rain! Lol
