Oh, the sweet, sweet Power of Motherhood. Not just reading it, - TopicsExpress

Oh, the sweet, sweet Power of Motherhood. Not just reading it, but living it. Not living it because we homeschool, or because Im a stay at home mom, living it just because I AM A MOM! My prayer focus, this morning, was on Trey; it is the 15th anniversary of his birth day! I just poured my heart out for him, in thankfulness, in adoration, for his future, his trials, his past, his present, the generations to come from him, his influence. As I began journaling this prayer, it quickly turned into a personal letter for him, which then turned into words I was able to speak directly to him. Talk about the POWER OF MOTHERHOOD! Mommas, we have been given, I believe, one of the highest callings in the world, we have the ability to build up our homes, our children, and our spouse, with our words. Or, tear them down. And, I believe, this includes, the lack of our words. The Lord showed me specific examples to share with Trey times when he has gone from strength to strength. It does not matter if you are a stay at home mom, a career mom, (in fact, one of my sweetest friends is a career momma, AND a successful lawyer. AND, Ive never met another who loves her babies the way she does. Shes inspirational, and has been gifted with the best of both worlds. Love you, Debbie Miller-Davis! Sorry to go all sappy, but you immediately came to my mind when writing this.) It does NOT matter, if you homeschool, public school, private school, if you work full time, part time or stay home. Not a single one of us have a magical equation. Each of our families, our homes, are unique-unable to be compared to another. We are ALL in this together, and weve all been given this privilege of empowering our homes, regardless if you have your children16 hours a day or 2. YOU momma, YOU have been gifted with, The Power of Motherhood!!!
