Oh what a tangeled web we weave when first we practice to - TopicsExpress

Oh what a tangeled web we weave when first we practice to deceive. Many, many years ago my daddy told me to never tell anything that was not the truth and then you did not have to try to remember what you had said about any given subject. Most of the times I just do not say anything, I just listen. You can learn a lot if you just keep your mouth shut and let other rant and rave. Another wise saying from my daddy was to say nothing about anyone unless it was good. That certainly limits my conversation, but it is also really good advise. Just think what a wonderful world this would be if our only remarks were good. You can learn a lot about people if you watch the expression on their face when they do not know that you are listening, observing and keeping your own mouth shut. If someone says something catty just smile and let it go. You take all the joy out of their words if you do not let them know that you have heard their snide remark. We can make this a better world if we guard our tongues. We can be the leader in world peace by being a good example and trying to always find the good in people instead of looking for the indiscreations that all mortals have. Let this be a new beginning and say, see and think only good thoughts. God Bless each and every on of my wonderful Facebook Friends.
