Oh why not? Here goes...7 things people may or may not know about me: 1. I should probably begin by admitting that Im a Coke addict...totally addicted to Diet Coke! I know its completely unhealthy but for some reason, I cant stop. 2. From the time I hit 1st grade, I wanted to become an archeologist when I grew up. Sadly, some dreams are never realized. Ha! 3. I have an obsessive interest in all things Celtic, viking, medeival and supernatural...especially witchy things. (no, I do NOT worship Satan!) 4. My favorite color is Burgundy. 5. I have an unrealistic fear of death by great white sharks! Its so intense that even when Im in the shower, I cant keep my eyes closed for too long, while washing my face and hair cuz I can picture myself trying to out-swim one thats after me. (all this nonsense may stem from my first experience watching Jaws at the drive in when it first came out, then subsequent episodes of National Geographics Jacque Cousteau with my dad). Also, knowing that God likes to strengthen our weaknesses by allowing us to face our worst fears in life, I often worry that this is how Ill eventually die! My love for the ocean will put me in the wrong place at the wrong time and God will let me face down a vicious, hungry Great White just to let me go out with a bang! Ill get to the other side and Hell say to me, Now see? It wasnt as bad as you thought, was it? WHEEEEWWWW! Glad I got that off my chest! That was actually theraputic! If you read the whole thing, thanks. If not, I dont blame you. 6. I used to teach Ballroom dance for a time and really wanted to go into that after I returned home from serving a mission for my church in Hawaii. Once again...some dreams fall by the wayside. But...I have a new dream: I want to get published while I can still move it and make it big enough that Ill be on Dancing With the Stars! Bwahahah...you know what they say, if youre gonna dream, dream big! 7. Im a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and do love my religion, although I do NOT claim to be perfect, I do try my best to live up to what Ive come to know, even though Im still a bit rough around the edges! To me, its a real-world religion, its teachings centered on Christ and applicable to real life. Too many people think theyre going to hell for being human and too few people realize theres a little more work to do in this life than just believe.
