Oh you crazy #DAYS kids... all this back lash over Billy Flynn already??? Come on People Casey SUCKED at acting. PERIOD. There is no argument, no rebuttal needed, He never grew as a actor as the character grew. And thats the thing the character never grew up. He was always this snot nose wishy/washy good/bad guy that no one never knew how to take. He was involved in some pivotal story lines that could have shot him into stardom. It never happened. The Grace story alone he should have capitalized on but the characters around him just drowned him out. After that they made him a Dimera and he still flaked on that too. He never really felt like a Dimera not even with the fake health scare before he left. He finally shed some light on what he could have been with Melanie but that was only due to the fact their personal chemistry made them likable. Of course Days wonderful writing got in the way and threw him into the cyclone of the Gabi years and that was he total down fall. I was bored to death with him and Abby, neither one had the chops to be a super couple. Truth be told days tried to write him out several times and finally did last year. Casey Deidrick was not a good Chad. again he was just ok. He didnt even give the class and silver lining needed to be a Dimera. There was no need to try to mature him it wasnt possible. Billy Flynn has been on the show for not even 45 full mins yet and everyone is getting the Tar and Feathers? Seriously? Come on this is absurd!!! BE LOYAL TO THE CHARACTER AND THE SHOW NOT JUST THE ACTOR!!! Could anyone see Casey decking EJ? I mean could you see Casey backing Kate, Sami, Ben, or even Kristen in a corner... HELLL NO!! You all would be sitting back and laughing your asses off cause he still would have came across as a teenager. Billys version of Chad is what we need. There will be no more EJ, Lexie is dead, Kristen is leaving and Joseph Mascolo dont want to come back full time.Unless they SORAS Johnny, Sydney, or Theo its time for someone else to take the Dimera Clan to this generation. Billy Flynn can do that. He has the style and grace of EJ, attitude of Kirsten, and Money and Power of Stefano. PERFECT REPLACEMENT FOR ALL PARTIES.... Rant over all you Casey Bandwagon junkies can hop back on it and pull off...
