OhMyCrud!!! *stomach lurch of buuuhhhh. shiver shiver stare* This is other realm freakery. For me anyway. Im horrified, but also laughing and amused. For a few reasons, the shapes of childhood midnight shadows, coupled with an imagination as vast and twisty as mine, being the origin of most of my reasons. And majorly, specifically, because when I was very little, my dad would hang his coveralls from a hook in the ceiling of our living room, overnight in the winter, to dry near our wood burning stove. And the usual spot just so happened to be in direct line with my view from my bed, in the shadowy darkness. And well, I cannot even count how many times I woke up and peeked thru the tiny little, sleepy, crack in my eyelid to see if its morning yet. And my eye would accidentally, wander past our doorway. Then, fly back to the living room view, fully open and burning from the light after a long dark. And, my brain would suddenly panic about the scary, murderous man suspended from our living room ceiling, waiting to kill us all. And, my mind raced to thoughts of who the crap was gonna run and tell our parents. And then after flying with breathy gasps of horror, to a sitting up ready to bolt now, position. And as my shriek was juuuuuuust about to escape... ......it would dawn on me.... coveralls. And yes, it was traumatic. #myweirdlittlelife #random
