Ok Campers, and Others-it is Epistle time once again....today is New Years Eve, much partying tonight there will be. Please Please PLEASE do not get behind the wheel of your (or anyone elses) vehicle after you are impaired in any way. And the time to do this is prior to your celebrating. Our family suffered a horrible, tragic loss because of a 37 year old woman. She crossed the median and hit his car head on. We lost a son, a brother, a husband and a father.....he was all these things. His wife, Michelle, was killed instantly. In this day and age it is the given train of thought that we have every right to make our own choices. We make choices for ourselves, dont hurt no one else, right? Well....I beg to differ. If anyone of you make that choice tonight, to get behind the wheel after you have been drinking or drugging, you are making a choice for me as well. I do NOT choose to have to deal with your vehicle swaying all over the highway, street, or road, as you swing and sway your car on the way to the next party. I DO NOT choose to risk my life (or yours either) and violently hurl my family and your family, into the abyss of never ending sadness, loss, and heartache just because you thought you had the right to make a choice that you firmly believed would affect you and only you. So, as I end my epistle this time, I ask that all of you think of someone you love very much. Picture them in the vehicle with you, you would want to take care of them, keep them as safe as you can. So, Happy New Year to you all, may we all have a beautiful new year ahead of us, and lets leave the old year, 2014, behind us, safe and sound. Happy Trails !!!
