Ok Everyone please beware and share this with all your friends. I just got a phone call from Microsoft Corporation. I answered it because I had been having problems and sent whatever it is that you send when you do a repair through the internal repair program. Anyway the person that called said they were from Microsoft and that they had sent an update for some security issues. They wanted me to turn on my computer so they could send the update. I told them I could not because my son locked me out (he changed the password and doesnt know what it is) and that it crashed when I was trying to retrieve password. He very rudely said that was ok just turn it in. I got a little upset and said I just told you I cant. He hung up on me. I called the number back and hit the Microsoft Corporation and told her what happened and how rude he was. She told me I was lucky because it was NOT the Microsoft Corporation. This is a scam that has been happening for about 3 months. You turn your computer on and then they ask for access to fix it. When they get access then they steal all your info. She said that Microsoft will never call you out of the blue. Be warned if you get this call then hang up!!! I never thought I could get a call like this because I dont have much but theives dont discriminate!
