Ok Facebook friends one of my long time friends Amanda and her husband gave birth to a beautiful baby boy one week ago on the northern peninsula. Unfortunately she had some complications at birth and little baby EJ went without oxygen for 15 min which lead to some neurological deficits and had to be airlifted by air ambulance to the janeway NICU where he is admitted today and awaiting MRIs and other testing to determine the outcome. Amanda later came in on a commercial flight when she was released from hospital. As you can imagine this is a very rough time for them emotionally with no family and very few friends in the metro area. As emotionally rough as it is for them her husband had to leave his job to come in with EJ and there for unexpected travel and loss of wages can be financially draining as well. Thats where we can help. I wanted to put together a fundraiser for them, we are currently in the early stages of putting this together and we are hoping to shoot for some day in the next week or two. We were thinking some ticket sales and prob a night of entertainment.
