Ok, Flashback time. Right about this time of the year back in 1987 a was enjoying my stay at one of the hardest, but most rewarding places I had ever been in my life. Paris Island SC. I have posted the below before and after pictures for your enjoyment. Paris Island taught me Pride, self Discipline, and the sense of knowing that once you become a Marine you will always be a Marine. This has been proven to me several times throughout my life when I meet a stranger, and once we find we were both Marines, we are instantly brothers. Same goes with Active Marines down range in the field. I want to take this time to Thank all my Marine brothers for the comradery only we know. Semper Fi Devil dogs. It has been said that there is only two branches of the military, the Army and the Navy, because the Air force is a corporation, and the Marines are a Cult.
