Ok. I am beyond over being added to Lash Blast groups or parties for mondo mascara. And on a recent post about the over-exaggerated claims of a MLM skin firming cream, someone PMd me about Younique mascara. She was only about the 2155th person to introduce me to 3D Fiber Lashes. If you have been on my page a little minute, you know how I feel about MLM companies. Granted, I have always said that some may have perfectly good products, but the sales reps repel me!! So anyway, before you think Ive traded my soul to the dark side and I am about to say I am peddling the stuff - keep your panties on (or your boxer briefs). That would be FALSE. I am not, nor will I, peddle a MLM product because I dont want to be aligned with the previous dog peter gnats that have irritated the piss out of me in the past. ;) However, I will say that the young lady who approached me used a completely disarming approach and asked if she could please send me the product for free. She believes in it so much, she is willing to send me the full size product for free. I quickly shut her down because it would not be fair for her to go out of pocket, because I would not, at any time, ever sell the product. She said that was absolutely no problem. I also told her that no matter what, whether I loved the product or hated it, I WOULD GIVE AN HONEST REVIEW. She said that was great and what she wanted. I went on to tell her that I already had negative feelings about the product because MOST of the amazing before and afters that were supposed to entice me to buy the product actually did the opposite....because they looked like hairy tarantula legs instead of beautiful lashes. She said she understood and that yes, if not used properly, could look that way and assured me it would not look that was if used properly. Sooo...... I said if she was ok with all of that, and she was, that she could send it to me. Yall, stay tuned..... it should arrive today. I will try it out and give before and afters with an honest review. But no matter what, even if I LOVE it, I may buy it in the future, but I wont be selling it. So you can guarantee an honest review from me, with no ulterior motives. ;) Interesting note, I do not know the girl who messaged me, AT ALL. Never before talked to her. **I should add: those in the MLM business should take notes on how MANY feel about the pesky, pushy way that most sell. And I dont mean just pushing the product on people. No, worse. In fact, my biggest issue with MLMers is that they only mention the product and before even gauging your interest in the PRODUCT and certainly before you have even used them, they are HOUNDING THE BLOODY HELL OUT OF YOU TO SELL IT!! You know... free product and free BMWs and stuff and making millions part time. Stop it. Sell the product based on the honest merit of the product. Allow them to fall in love with it and then go in for the kill..... I promise you would be more successful in the long run and helping the company name, even if it is a slightly longer sales cycle.
