Ok, I dont usually share video posts, but this one I will. As you rush about day to day, please slow down just enough to notice and care about your brothers and sisters that are not as blessed as you are! A personal experience that changed my life a few years back. I was waiting in the suburban with he kids while Loretta did some quick shopping. I noticed a man asking people for money, so I did what I usually would do, my best not to notice. Well, he saw me and walked up and asked if I could spare any money for him. He said he was hungry and wanted to buy some food. Being caught on the spot I gave him $5. Well, he thanked me and then proceeded to hurry over to the nearest fast food restaurant. It broke my heart to think that one of my brothers was suffering and hungry and I was doing my best to ignore him. Now the media is full of stories of panhandlers taking advantage of peoples generosity, and it is a hard and difficult thing, but please! be willing to give, pray that the Lord will show you someone you can help and please listen to that prompting and give! I promise you that you will not notice a loss from what you give. I can testify of that, through these years since that time I have never missed anything Ive given to a brother or sister in need.
