Ok I have been crazy busy but now that Savannah is doing well I wanted to say that today 1 year ago is when Dr Travis Goodnight did my Gastric sleeve surgery. I have had the best year of health in the last year that I have had in a long time. Hardly a day does not go by that I dont think about him. He was such an awesome man. Im very thankful for the friendship my family has developed with Missy Blanton Goodnight and many from her family. I still miss going into see Travis in his office just to give him a bad time about Oklahoma lol. Their office was so friendly from Sondra Kaye Morehead to Missy all the way to Dr Goodnight. The funniest thing I think was my 1 month follow up appointment that I was able to have after my surgery. I decided to bring an Alpaca into the Dr office. I walked in and his first words was ooooooh not you! But then he seen that alpaca and he said what are you doing as he laughed. During my appointment he had me bring the alpaca back and all he could do while talking about me and how I was doing was look at that alpaca and ask questions about the alpaca. As we were walking out of the office we got into the waiting room and he said real loud Missy schedule that alpaca for a Colonoscopy for Monday morning. One guy spoke up and said am I in a veterinarian office or a surgeons office.lol Thats the way he Travis was. A year later Ive dropped over 70 pounds and lots of medications. The greatest thing that ever happened to me was Salvation thru Jesus Christ but the Lord enabled me to meet a man like Travis so that I could have good health again. Linda Goodnight I know u r so proud of what he accomplished in his short life on this side of eternity but I wanted to tell u and Missy and Lexi Goodnight and all your family how thankful I am that Travis touched my life but even greater then what he did with his hands is what he did with his heart. I am thankful and will always love yalls family. God sent Travis to help me and now a year out I can say he has. Love u guys
