Ok...I have been horribly cheated and am devastated. I got a used book Good Omens by Terry Prachett and Neil Gaiman. Ive been wanting to read it forever and finding a used hardcover was a coup. Im reading and reading and thinking This is boring . Where is it going? I see readers on-line love the book, think its hilarious and a classic. All I see is two snipey ladies at a dinner party. I look at Amazon to see what the plot actually is. Its about Angels and Demons and Armagedon. Wha? I keep wondering which character is a Demon. I look ahead to see when it will start getting interesting. Turns out to be a murder mystery. This isnt Good Omen!! I notice part of the spine cover is loose. I pull it off. Its not Good Omens at all but a unfamilar author and really is a 50s murder mystery!!! Someone changed the spine cover by pasting Good Omens over the actual title. They even copied the unusual typeface of Good Omens. Why would someone do that? I have a rule about finishing any book started...but not this time! How can someone be so cruel?
